ABOUT TINTORI CASTINGS:
Tintori Castings is a family-owned and run business in the Hudson Valley near New Paltz, NY. The Tintori’s story began in Bagni di Luca, Tuscany, Italy where mold-making and casting is a way of life. Since Donato Tintori’s arrival in the U.S. in 1963, that heritage continued through his various businesses finally ending up in the current location in Accord, NY. From plaster castings for florist and furniture stores to concrete statues and finally fiberglass planters, the company has grown its business and now serves the Architectural and Landscape Designer needs of the Metro New York area. Our fiberglass planters are made with expertise that has been tested over the years.
Now run by Donato’s son, Marco Tintori, and his wife Lisa, the Tintori Castings workshop is also home to local artisans who have crafted custom planters for a wide array of projects. They are trained in all aspects of the mold making process and take pride in the custom work made by hand. Our planters are on rooftops, gardens, walkways, entryways, hotels and restaurants. Our planters have been installed at the rooftop of the Armory in Central Park, at key locations along Broadway in New York City, on several celebrity rooftop projects, at the US Open, along Fifth Avenue and at Consulate and Embassy projects, to name just a few. Our projects have traveled as far as Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Asbury Park, N.J. as well as all five boroughs of New York City.
In 2018, Tintori Castings was accredited through New York State as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) acknowledging Marco’s time spent serving this country in combat on two foreign soils. Tintori Castings is proud to support local Veteran opportunities.
